I am pleased to unveil the front cover of the October 2007  hardcover mystery: Mrs. Jeffries and The Feast of St. Stephen.   I am delighted with this particular cover , which is one of the best of the series.   Normally it isn't important but I feel it is quite beneficial to have an attractive cover on the hardcover edition as it is much larger than the paperback version.

 The title connects the victim - Stephen Whitfield  - with the traditional Holiday in Britain - commonly called "Boxing Day".  

 According to Wikipedia:

Boxing Day is a holiday of peculiarly British origin, but in most years it falls on the same day as the Feast of St. Stephen .

(St. Stephen's Day - 26th December).

"Good King Wenceslas looked out on the feast of Stephen,
When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even;
Brightly shone the moon that night, tho' the frost was cruel, etc.

 So mark your calendars for October 2nd  2007 so you can get your hands on this latest Mrs. Jeffries mystery.
