Alas, the publisher wants to see the hardcover sell thru' Christmas and the New Year. It is the few times of the year that people give books as gifts and the publishing industry knows that people generally prefer to give hardcover books to their friends. It is normal for the paperback to appear ten to twelve months after the hardcover's publication date. I have been given no firm date for the paperback version of Mrs. Jeffries and the Feast of St. Stephen so this is my best guess!
