This is the cover art of the mystery that will be published in May 2007.   I do not create the covers - it is handled by my publisher - based on the plot ideas that I tell them are in the book.   sometimes the results are good - and I am happy with the cover.   This is a Mrs. Jeffries cover that I am quite  pleased with - have you noticed that my name appears in bigger type than the earlier books? If you are in a bookstore you will notice that "best-selling" authors tend to have their names in as large a font as the title of the book!    Remember,  "Mrs. Jeffries and the Best Laid Plans" is going to be a paperback original published in May 2007.

In the meantime, having returned from my Asheville, N.C. class where I met some fellow authors - I am almost halfway to finishing the Mrs. Jeffries mystery that follows "Mrs. Jeffries and the Best Laid Plans."

The class was a great success and I think it will help me become a better writer.   My agent encouraged me to attend this seminar because he has a strong belief that I have more to offer!
